PanCanal Alumni Association, a 501 c(3) tax exempt non-profit, is proud to announce that "The Finish Scholarship" (TFS) Program was successful in meeting its mission and goals for 2010. We are proud to announce that TFS was approved by the Board of Directors for the 2011 program year. We believe that a post secondary education is essential to help build the utmost potential of an individual, therefore TFS will promote and stress the importance to students to finish their college education and to attain a degree. We will award up to five (5) $500.00 scholarships to as many deserving and needy students from the community that we serve in their efforts to attain a higher education to meet their professional objectives.

Eligibility*
1. Applicant must be a high school graduate in the current academic year and eligible to enroll and attend an undergraduate program at a four-year institution, community college, or trade school in the United States.
Or applicant must be an undergraduate student already enrolled in a four-year institution, community college, or trade school in the United States.
2. Applicant must maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average.
3. Also, applicant must be a full-time student currently enrolled in at least 12.0 units or a part-time student currently enrolled in at least 6.0 units, at a four-year institution, community college, or trade school.
4. Previous awardees will be eligible to reapply each academic year; however applicants are only eligible to win a maximum of four scholarships.
Required Documents
A completed application must be typed or neatly handwritten in dark ink.
Written Essay “The Difference of Receiving the Finish Scholarship”. Refer to Section 5 of the application for details.
Two (2) completed evaluation forms from instructors (in sealed envelope).
Submit high school diploma or transcripts from current high school, college, university, or trade school.
For Scholarship Recipients only: Letter of acceptance from university, college, or trade school that verifies admission into a certificate or degree program. Funds will not be disbursed until letter is received by PanCanal Alumni Association TFS Committee.
* Individuals related to The Finish Scholarship (TFS) Committee Members, Board of Directors and Officers of PanCanal Alumni Association, Inc. by blood, marriage, and adoption are not eligible to apply.
